Some news on Indian Bank Transfers from Paypal Finally

Here is what paypal sent me in an e-mail today.

Some good news but some grey areas still to be addressed.

We have been diligently working with the RBI and our business partners to resume Indian bank withdrawals for the thousands of Indian businesses who depend on PayPal to sell their goods or services in the global marketplace. Today, we are happy to announce that the RBI has allowed us to continue local bank withdrawals for settlements for exports of goods and services. We are currently making changes to comply with Indian regulations for settlements for exports of goods and services, and we anticipate that, as of Wednesday, March 3rd, customers will be able to use our bank withdrawal service. As part of the changes, you will be required to fill out a new field entitled 'Export Code' when you request a withdrawal. This information is required under the current laws of India in order to identify the nature of cross-border merchant transactions. On Monday, March 1st, we will be back in touch with specific instructions on how you can move your money into your bank account. Moving forward, the RBI has told us that PayPal needs specific approvals to allow personal remittances to India, which we currently do not have. Until we get these approvals, personal payments into India will remain suspended. However, if you are an exporter, you will continue to be able to use the PayPal service for payments of goods and services. In fact, with the changes we are making to our system, PayPal is now set to be a more powerful engine for exporters in India. With purpose codes for export transactions and FIRCs (Foreign Inward Remittance Certificates), you should now be able to get the export related benefits you seek. You can check the PayPal blog for additional updates.

A brief guide on a good landing page.

Here is something that might help those who wonder how to create a landing page.
Yes, if you are trying to make money online, you need to promote your product or service and the landing page is the one which your potential buyer sees, reads the information available and gets interested in buying your product and eventually ends up buying the product.

Here are some important tips.

1. Try to get a domain name as close to the business/product you are promoting.
2. Make sure you have a title and that is as close as possible to the domain name/business/product/service you are selling
3. have the domain name in the keywords
4. Make sure that you are using H1, H2, H3 tags - that is being search engine friendy
5. use 301 redirect - eg; search engines see http://domainname.com and www.domainname.com as two different sites and you won't get credit for traffic if you don't use 301 redirect
6. have a robots.txt - let search engines know what they should crawl and what they should not
7. have a site map
8. make sure you have a privacy policy, contact us, disclaimer pages
9. don't put too many products and services in one page - you are distracting the user from the main product, stick to one product/service on a landing page
10. try to give a honest picture, don't make tall claims - that ensures that you get quality prospects
11. If there are charges, be clear - don't hide - people don't like surprises.

Well, that is some small list of things to take care. Hope you find it useful.

All the best.

Update on Paypal issue for Indian businesses

Here is an update from PayPal on their blog. It is still possible to transfer money, but only credit cards.

I just got paid by Tissa and GDI

Well, this week, I got paid referral fees from Tissa and residual income from GDI.

Some of my downline in GDI have become quite active and they are getting good signups.
It is good for them and good for me!

With the residual income of $4.5 for every completed and current step3, the referral fees also have started increasing.

The recent changes are motivating a lot of the people to do better.
There is less clutter in the back office, a very well laid out self explanatory menu that is helping newbies to understand and learn faster.

Give it a go. If you are sick of all the $27, $47, $67, $77, $97, $197..... kind of products where they take the money and run leaving you high and dry, this is one business you should try. No one is asking you for a dime to sign up.

Of course, as you go along, there are expenses that unlock additional income streams for you but it is completely optional.

Try it out and if you need assistance, there is a great forum and me.

All the best

Paypal Issue - Many Indian Customers Affected!

It just happened out of the blue!

Many have been taken by surprise by this move by Paypal. The fund transfers to and fro from personal accounts has been suspended and some of the transactions have been reversed. Many freelancers, small businesses that used Paypal have been affected because of this!

Paypal cites it is governmental compliance requirements which will take time to get sorted out, may be a few months. That means, your money is sitting pretty in paypal and you can't withdraw it till this gets sorted out!

Here is the post on the official Paypal blog: https://www.thepaypalblog.com/2010/02/update-on-paypal-situation-in-india/

Let us keep our fingers crossed and hope it gets resolved soon!

Let us see what we finally have as of Feb 9th

These are the major initiatives.

1. People Search engine - is now totally free - yes, you don't pay a dime.
You can customize your people search engine and have your own opt-in forms

Earning potential - ClickBank, HD Publishing, My Life, Adsense and commission junction. Earnings from all these can be substantial if you learn how to market, advertise and promote! How about a business where you don't pay a dime to your sponsor and you keep all the earnings.

This will cost you $10 a month only, if and only, you go for your own branded search engine under the domain you choose. Well, having a domain/website on the internet is like making your presence felt and branding yourself. Worth a lot more than the $10 that you pay for!

2. Residual income streams

When you complete step3, all your residual income streams are unlocked. This means, you will earn commissions from GDI, GVO, HostGator, Tissa, Shoemoney, Wealthy Affiliate and Affilorama.

Phew, how can you ever fail, unless you intend to fail!

Total of 12 income streams and still you can't make money with all the help and support that is available?

Think about it! Yes, you can go fish around for quick money making programs all over the internet and then come back here.

All the best

A bit about one of the income streams. Commission Junction.

Most of the people in affiliate marketing are quite familiar with ClickBank and Paydotcom. Both of them are primarily focused on digital products. With so much competition on these two, many affiliate marketers find it difficult to get any decent sales. Yes, there are few well established ones who are raking in money, but for most, it is a tough nut to crack.

One of the income streams in acme people search is commission junction. Now, the products here are different. There are tangible products that are out there which one can promote, be it a laptop, vacation, membership to some site....

I suggest that you start exploring commission junction. There is money out there, not just sales commissions, even if you just get them a lead, you will earn money from money of the vendors.

All the best
