I have a Google Adwords account. One of my campaign is running with a CTR of 4.5%+! It is an affiliate program I am promoting.
Here is how you can avoid those bans/slaps from Google.
Make sure you have original content on your landing page. This is the toughest part. I have seen many would just copy someone else's content and start using it. Try to be creative, write your own content or get it written by good content writers and make sure it is unique. You must have a good landing page otherwise you can't run a PPC ad with Google.
Make sure that you are not stuffing your content with keywords. That is a big no no.
Make sure your domain is registered for at least couple of years. That is one of the way you are giving a message to the search engines that you are in it for long term and you are not a fly by night operator.
If you are buying a domain, make sure that the name you choose aligns with the business that you are promoting.
