Wow... I'm in disbelief right now. We have a wonderful information-based website that we've been advertising for many months now. Our QS is 7 or higher virtually everywhere. Our ad spend is 3X higher than it has been ever in our 5-6 years with Google Adwords. Everything was going so well... until TONIGHT.

I received an email with the ominous title "Your Google AdWords account has been disabled" Here are a couple excerpts from the email:

"We are writing to let you know that your Google AdWords account has been disabled due to one or more serious violations of our advertising policies related to Landing Page and Site Quality.  As a result, your ads will no longer run through the Google AdWords system and we are unable to accept advertising from you in the future.  Please note that future accounts you open will also be disabled.

As part of our commitment to making the AdWords experience safe and effective for our users and our advertisers, we routinely review the landing pages that our advertisers promote through our search and content networks.  If we find that an advertiser has submitted a landing page that egregiously violates our policies, we reserve the right to take immediate account-level action.

Landing pages advertised via AdWords must have relevant, original content, and must be transparent about the nature of the business being promoted. Further, advertising certain types of sites will lead to immediate account disabling.  These types of sites include, but are not limited to:

   * Sites that charge users or collect personal information in exchange for a product that is never delivered
   * Sites that charge for "free" software
   * Sites that trick users into paying for fake or poor-quality content
   * Sites that charge users for information that makes unrealistic promises of financial or personal gain
   * Sites that install malware software on a visitor's computer"

Now, as I said before our website only offer shopping information, tips, and reviews. We don't collect any email addresses or charge our visitors a penny. Simply stated, there is NOTHING that we're doing with our site that is CLOSELY resembling a violation of AdWords policies. It's absolutely RIDICULOUS...

I sent a polite email reply to Google but I personally know they can be a bit slow to respond to such things.

I don't know what to do as I'm losing $100s of dollars/day with my site not being online... Please someone from Google - offer some advice! I'd be very appreciative!

Got the same email, or similar at least, but with ABSOLUTELY no explanation.
Read another forum thread where LOTS of this was happening. There was a suggestion to reply to the email (from a Google Employee) and the answer would be forth coming. What I got in response was still more non-answers quoting "violation of terms and conditions".
Well I read over the T & C over and again, folllowed the guidelines for creating accounts and ads....
So I ask for clarification what was in violation so I could correct it, a reasonable request...
All I get from them is "I have reconsulted the specialist team about
your account suspension, and have confirmed that our team's decision is
correct and final. Your ads will no longer run on Google. This policy will
apply to all accounts you have created."

What was in violation????
How can I fix something that I dont know what it is that needs fixing? This is non communication. They seem to be hiding behind the blanket of their "terms and conditions" yet dont give anyone the opportunity to make the appropriate corrections?

The last paragraph of the email is even more disturbing, frustrating and absurd: "Our support team is unable to provide any further information. Please do not contact us again."
This is completely unfair, unprofessional and rude.

Again, I have absolutely NO IDEA what was in violation.

Received a reply as well. Complete copy & paste job. Didn`t adress as single issue. Unreal.
